Our Trip To Ohio Thus Far...

Busy busy busy... and I thought I was suppose to be on vaca! With everything for the wedding, it has been crazy. But the wedding is over, so now it is time to relax and enjoy my family.

The wedding was a success and Sarah looked beautiful! I, on the other hand, had alittle to much champagne. But all in all, it was a good time. Made me think back to my wedding and how much I love Rick. I am so lucky and blessed to have a wonderful husband and a goregous baby.

Ok, so I am trying to get better with this blogging. This past week has been hectic, between work, school and being a mother and a wife.... it's crazy! But I love it. This was my first full week at my new job in Norfolk/Ghent. It's going fabulously! We had a pretty big order and got a gigantic tip on it, which always makes it worth it. And my coworkers are super cool, so I'm pretty pumped. I have 3 more days next week and then we'll be leaving for Ohio. Sarah, my friend from high school, is getting married next weekend! I am so happy for her and Scott and can't wait for her to be closer to me when they move to Quantico. We also have other events planned for when we come home. I'm excited for the time off to spend with my wonderful family.

Ohh... and Lily is officially crawling! I can't beleive it! She is allll over the place and getting into everything. Before we know it she'll be walking... I don't know how I feel about that. She's getting so much bigger... I miss my little infant! Oh well... I guess that just means that we will have to have another one!

First Blog

Welp, this is my first blog. I thought it would be interesting to blog for a bit and see how it goes. I wonder if there is anyone bored enough to read it... (:

Lily and I are just sitting here, relaxing and getting read to nap until we have to go pick Rick up from work. He's getting his new truck today, a Dodge Ram, and I couldn't be any more excited. It makes sense for us to have two automobiles, since I am starting to work in Norfolk in the next week.

I bought Lily some new headbands from Target last week and she has one on now. It's super cute and they actually stay on her head! It's all lace with a big bow... tooo cute!

It's super hot here today and am sooo happy I have to day off. First one in awhile. I worked all weekend doing some promotional work for Gatorade on base. It was fun and met some nice people, but it sure feels nice relaxing. Tonight is Mexican night. I'm going to make steak fajitas and Spanish rice. We will see how it turns out (:
